Funding requests between $3,000 and $25,000 are considered. The 2026 timeline includes idea submissions in March, grant applications in April, and recipient announcements in June. Eligibility requires projects within Hartford, highlighting neighborhood uniqueness, being open to the public, and involving at least 10 volunteers, with 50% from the neighborhood.
Community Renewal Team (CRT)
Since 1963, CRT has been dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve healthy and economically stable futures. Serving Hartford and Middlesex Counties, CRT offers over 60 programs addressing challenges like hunger, homelessness, unemployment, and poverty. Their holistic approach includes basic needs assistance, children’s programs, health and wellness services, housing and shelters, job training, senior services, and veteran support. In 2025, CRT served over 40,000 individuals and 20,000 households across 40 municipalities, demonstrating a significant impact on the community.
